  • Most people spend 90% of their time indoors.
  • Children are more likely than adults to be affected by polluted indoor air.
  • The average 6 room house collects 40 pounds of dust each year.
  • Typical fiberglass furnace filters are less than 7% efficient.
  • Molds, bacteria, viruses, pollen, dust mites, and animal dander promote poor indoor air quality. HVAC systems are frequent sources; when inhaled can lead to breathing problems.

DO YOU HAVE AN "INDOOR AIR POLLUTION PROBLEM" ?

If you answer "Yes" to any of these questions, your home may
suffer from "Indoor Air Pollution"

  • Do you have an air circulating system that utilizes a standard fiberglass filter?
  • Do you have pets?
  • Are there smokers in the house?
  • Does anyone in  your home suffer from allergies, asthma, or other respiratory problems?
  • Do you regularly clean excessive dust accumulations from your household furniture?
  • Do you experience headaches, nausea, burning sensationsin the nose, throat, or eyes while inside the home?
  • Do you have "dust trails" or discoloring coming out of your air duct registeres?
  • When you last changed your furnace filter, did you see dust and dirt in the filter housing?
  • Do you have a fireplace or wood burning Stove?

Dirt, dust, mold, pollen, and animal dander are recirculated through
air and ducts every time we turn on our heat and air conditioner.
Combine this with moisture and you have the ideal breeding ground
for fungi, germs, and household mold. Studies have confirmed
that some diseases, including salmonella, strep, and
legionnaires disease are spread by contaminated air ducts.

DRYER VENT CLEANING

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates that in
1997, there were an estimated 16,700 fires, 30 deaths and 430
injuries associated with clothes dryers. Some of these fires can
occur when lint builds up in the filter or in the exhaust duct.
Under certain conditions, when lint blocks the flow of air, excessive
heat build-up can cause a fire in some dryers. It is important to
have a professional to remove the lint build up inside the dryer
exhaust system to avoid dryer and dryer vent fires. The lint trap
should be cleaned by the consumer after every load.
